Independent PartyLite Consultant [05 Aug 2011|02:30pm]

raindancer_jess
Hello all! I am a new PartyLite Consultant and want to spread the word and the candle happiness! I am cross posting to several candle-focused communities so my apologies if you see this more than once. My website is http://www.partylite.biz/sites/jessicapena .

What is PartyLite? We sell high quality candles, home fragrance, home décor, aromatherapy, and even have a line of gourmet foods to make entertaining a snap. I sell PartyLite because it is a ton of fun and I love the product, and who can say no to extra money and tons of free candles? Book a show to share PartyLite with your friends and family – our average hostess earns $100 in free products. Start making your wish list! I can do either book parties, which means I mail you catalogs and order forms and you pass them around to your friends/family/coworkers/etc and collect orders, or online parties, which means all your guests shop on the website. An online party is especially great if you want to invite people who don’t live near you. Both types of parties give you access to Host specials and great deals, and give your guests access to special deals too! One lucky hostess from each month will win a drawing for a $25 gift certificate!

If you would like to join my Candle Connection email list, send me your email address and I’ll let you know about all the monthly specials, sales, and new items. The Fall and Holiday catalog has just come out and has some adorable new things and great autumn scents. My favorite is Apricot Fig – what’s yours?

Not into parties? You can also order directly from my website. PartyLite even does fundraisers! Do your kids need to raise funds for an upcoming team event? Contact me and start earning!

SPECIAL - The August Fragrance of the Month is called “Halloween Night” and is a wonderful candy corn scent – all candles in this scent are 25% off this month!

question about scenting candles [04 Feb 2008|08:54pm]

I know you can buy scent squares in craft stores specifically for making candles, but I was wondering if you could use pure essential oils instead.

thanks

Hello! I just found this community and thought maybe some of you fellow candle lovers would be interested in my website!

I sell Mia Bella Gourmet Candles. They are low-soot, mostly soy candles. The jars are double-wicked and they burn down super evenly and almost to the very very bottom AND leave the jar free of all that wax stuck inside so that they are easy to empty out and use for something else! There are about 100 different scents to choose from and you can burn them from a looooong time before they're gone! I've been burning the Lemon Pound Cake one in my apartment every night for over a week and there's still some left! I also sell other products like bath bars, votive candles, car air fresheners, simmer pots and melts, and more!

If anyone is interested, you can browse and place orders at my site: Scent From Heaven.

You can also register to win a FREE candle!!!

And I look forward to being on this community and learning about other kinds of candles that you all are enjoying!

Candlemaking [21 Oct 2007|05:22pm]

manaownsmysoul
Hi...
I'm new to the community, and love candles.
what i'm very interested in is making them.
I'm talking a moldmaking class right now, and my teacher is up to helping me make candles, but I have to research on my own like what kind of wax to use and stuff.

any suggestions?
(we have microcrystalline wax at school)

Hello all :)

I just wanted to share a site I recently visited and purchased from. They sale fragrant candles; but not just any fragrant candles.. they have ones which have a wooden wick. I'm in love with mine :) I have vanilla bean (I adore sugar and spice type candles) and when you light it, the candle crackles! (they don't just sell the woodwick candles, they have quite a large selection of other scented candles)

I'm not sure if anywhere else sells the woodwick candles - they really are impressive though!

I'm debating on getting more, so if anyone buys one, I'd love to know what you got and what you thought of it (as far as its scent and all) ... Also, I'm reposting this to a few other communities I'm a member of so I apologize in advance if you have to see it more than once.

I will give you all of the information for both/either when you contact me. To view our products you can go to www.goldcanyoncandles.com . My email is MELISSALEDFORDGCC@hotmail.com . The TARTS are here!!! [24 May 2006|11:58pm]

You asked and we listened. The tarts are now available!!

Tarts are a wonderful addition to a candle-lover's home. Just plop one in a tart warmer
and your room will fill with deliciousness. The best part about tarts is that they give you
the opportunity to explore all of Dame's selection of scents. For less than the price of
one 8oz soy candle you can sample three different scents that we offer.

Each tart is a nice taste of a scent, but don't let their small stature fool you, each tart will
fill your home for 6-12 hours.

A Plea for help [13 Apr 2006|07:56pm]

barenaked_elle
A note to all my candle addicted friends...

I was walking out of a store last Friday, the heel of my shoe got stuck and down I went. When I finally hit the ground I un-wedged my foot from the crack it was stuck in - can you say "ow"?! After a series of x-rays they discovered my ankle was severely broke as well as my femur. So surgery on Sunday, one screw and an awfully big cast later... I'm hobbling about. Unfortunately, I can't do the stairs so I can't leave the house without a chaperone!!

As a result of this, I have absolutely NO income right now. My pay at my other job is much less than my PartyLite pay was but, I cannot collect disability on that money. Soooo..... Can anyone do a PartyLite book show for me? This is the only thing I can do to bring in some money right now. Basically, I'll send you a book and some order forms... take it to work, school, wherever and collect some orders. You can spend 25% of your total sales on product for yourself and I will be FOREVER grateful to you. OR if that's too complicated... I have something called PartyLite squares. Basically they are $2.00 each, 50 on a page and the winner gets a $100 gift certificate. That I can email to you and you can print out.

Thanks in advance guys. I really do appreciate it.

[ mood | excited ]

Image hosting by Photobucket

This month we're featuring our Green Tea candle. This scent has been flying off the shelves and is by far our best seller.

"Green Tea is a scent that I have always found to be very calming. It seems to help calm the mind and the nerves. It's one of those scents that you really don't want to find hits you with an overpowering punch, but instead with a gentle relaxing flow of fragrance. The Green Tea candle that I purchased from DAME Candle Company was everything I expected and more. I am most pleased with my order and plan to place more orders in the future." -Lea

Crisp and refreshing with an invigorating herbal/ lemon scent, this candle will bring a sense of calm and balance to your home.

Buy an 8oz and a 12oz Green Tea candle set and receive a box of Green Tea for free!

There are many benefits to drinking green tea. There are four primary polyphenols in green tea and they are often collectively referred to as catechins. Powerful antioxidants, catechins have been shown in recent studies to fight viruses, slow aging, and have a beneficial effect on health.

Special Benefits of Green Tea:

  • Reduces high blood pressure. Drinking green tea represses angiotensin II which leads to high blood pressure.

  • Lowers blood sugar. Green tea polyphenols and polysaccharides are effective in lowering blood sugar.

  • Fights cancer. There have been many studies that have shown that green tea catechins are effective at preventing cancer.

Green tea also boosts the immune system because of its high concentrations of polyphenols and flavenoids.

Green tea antioxidants have been shown to lower cholesterol.
